This week I had a busy week, but it had a glamorous touch to it! Last Sunday I visited the Tuschinski movie theater to attend The Sting Awards 2015. This awards is organized every year to select the best store of the year. The Tuschinski movie theater was a great place to host the show and we were taking care off like real celebrities. The nominees of the night were brought to the front door in a white limousine and they were welcomed with a big applause by all the other employees who attended the shows. After all the nominees had arrived the show started and after some dance acts and speeches the audience didn’t have to wait much longer to know the winners of the evening. Best Sting chain of the year 2014 became The Sting Rotterdam and best Costes chain 2014 was won by Costes Amsterdam. The show finished with a big after party in Club R in Amsterdam and it was a great night to remember!
The next morning the day started early and a bit bumpy after a rocking night. It probably should have been wiser to drink less champagne, but after all I couldn’t help celebrating The Sting awards 2015. After sobering up during the afternoon I visited the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam for the Spring Summer Collection event of Costes. Hosted by Mossels and Gin, the collection was presented as part of the Ten days downtown event of Zalando during the Fashion Week of Amsterdam. Upon arrival of this great event I started with a Gin Tonic and some very crunchy bites and looked through the SS15 collection. This year’s collection is bringing 6 trends, Modern Sport, Urban Safari, Tropical Crush, Seventies Love, Sunset Marrakech and Denim Deluxe. In collaboration with artist Roxanne Dekker, the six trends were presented with an unique artwork by the artist. The show also hosted a little pop-up store and a nail salon for a fancy manicure. The Costes collection Spring Summer 2015 looks promising and I can’t wait to buy my first items.. From May onwards the entire collection will be available in all the Costes stores.
